Hello I drive a 1992 Corolla. The manual drivers side door mirror doesn’t adjust properly and needs replacing. Not repairable. However, all the units for sale online listed as 1992 drivers door mirror are a different shape to mine. As in, the part that mounts to the door is a different shape. (Mine has a distinct point at the top corner, whereas the others have the point on the right corner?) I have never seen another Corolla with this shape mirror, or a mirror for sale of this shape. What is happening? My car is a very early 1992, one of the first E100s made for the UK I think. Did they fit the earliest models with different mirrors? Or did other countries get different mirrors?  I looked at units from older generations but they aren’t the right shape either.

Very confused, hopefully somebody out there can help?
