MK1 custom rear lights with extra reverse lights

Hi, so I wanted to custom my rear lights (I just like to be different) I have used all led bulbs. The indicator bulbs are dual colour white/amber and wired so I have 3 reverse lights, when you indicate or use hazards the white turns off and the amber flashes as you can see in my video 🙂 I have also upgraded the front indicators with dual bulbs so that with ignition on they are white DRL's that cancel out to amber when using indicators but not got a video at the moment.

Nice rear end, not seen brows on rear lights, so again something new and different, keep up the good work.

Thank you.... removing the coloured lenses was a job and a half, I had to cut the whole light unit open to remove the outer glass cover to get to the internals, but its good to e different 🙂

Hi, awesome project. Do you have led indicators on the front and where did you buy both fronts and rear indicator bulbs from as mine are hyper flashing

Hi, this was over 2 years ago so cant remember the exact bulbs but they came from aliexpress. The front indicators are fitted with a kit so they flash orange and when the indicators are off they are white so act as daytime running lights EDIT - look at this video for how I did the fronts...link to parts in the video description
