Hi,

New Rav4 owner here, we've just been given an 07 petrol XT-R and all is well with the car but there is a mystery box on the dash and a switch next to the gear stick that we can't identify. When the switch is pushed forward there's a beep but nothing seems to happen! It looks like an aftermarket thing but I can't work it out and the previous owner doesn't know either! Photos attached to see if anyone can recognise what it is!

Looks like some kind of sensor, perhaps a speed camera sensor, internal movement alarm sensor, etc

Does the red light on the switch light up when on ?
