My22 C-HR Arrived

Hi all,

Got my 2 litre C-HR in Decuma grey today at 10 am with 22 plate. I got the car in  4 weeks as I decided to settle with Design trim.  The vehicle has new infotainment system, which looks fast and is very easy to use. I still have to learn a lot about the car operation, and in general about hybrid cars!

Congratulations, we have the same colour, not much to worry about on the hybrid front , it’s probably as easy a car to drive as you will find. Have fun seeing how economically you can drive 🙂

Very nice we have just ordered a 2 litre GR Sport in scarlet flare red. We have been told delivery will be about September.

But we don't mind as we a still enjoying driving our Corolla Design hatchback which is also in scarlet flare red with a panoramic roof.

I hope enjoy driving you new car

Andy, started to see economy. Getting 45 to 58mpg. MyT apps hybrid coaching score ranges from 91 to 96 without having driven hybrids earlier. Are you guys on 100?

I’ve never seen 100% but mid 90s is quite easily achieved in cross country / stop go type driving. The Hybrid system works best when it can keep regenerating. It’s at its least effective when you are on a motorway driving at constant (and relatively high speed) as the hybrid system doesn’t kick in as much. Have fun trying to see what you can achieve under different driving conditions, being smooth and reading the road/traffic  well ahead helps both economy and safety 👍🙂

You can get 100%, but it has to be a short (< 2km) run down hill with the Battery fully charged - Like if you stop just at the exit of an autoroute, for the toll booth, stop the car at rest area just after the toll booth, then drive to the final parking spot. I get scores of 95+% all the time. Curiously, the car gives me lower scores than My T.

Autoroute/motorway driving is not really the best environment for the Toyota hybrids, and in particular if you want to press on at or above the speed limit, best use some restraint.

Congratulations, a great looking car.  I my Aygo is the same colour and the trim is similar I like it as I think it looks refined, sometimes a colour will suit a small car but not a large one or visa versa but the grey works in both.  I do like the fact that the info screen is angled towards the driver.

Hi all,

A couple of questions:

1. Is there a way to check tyre pressure from the cabin? In my previous car, it would show all 4 tyres pressure via multi info display.
2. Can the infotainment screen be shut off by default and/or made to just show date/time etc like a computer by default?. I have usual short drive and I don't need much info.
