Hi everyone, hope you can help me.

I have had my Corolla for a week now and want to know how to stop the sat nav coming on when I am not using it.  Everytime I go round a corner the sat nav comes on when I just want the screen for the radio.

Thank you Carol

The map is the home screen isn't it? It is in mine anyway.

Try this:

Setup -> General -> Auto change to screen - Off

Recently discovered this.

I have another problem with the Sat nav, would appreciate any advice.

Although I have set the Day/Night to Auto, the screen just stays on Day screen all the time, which is way to bright when driving  on unlit roads.

Currently I am having to leave it set on night screen, which is for less tiring on the eyes!!!

Try changing "light sensor sensitivity to +2" in automatic light control system. Might work, but to be honest I've not noticed any difference when I change it. Toyota needs to adjust the sensor to make a noticeable difference.
