Hi All, I joined last November expecting to pick up my 2ZZGE a couple of days after joining. I was looking for a cheap run around so I could get some major work done on my Ranger. I happened talking about it to a m8, and his niece said I’m selling my Corolla in a couple of weeks, so l looked down one side and then the back, when I saw 2 pipes hanging out and compressor, I’d didn’t bother looking any further, Just said I’ll have it. Waiting to xmess and gave up on ever getting it, gutted.. A couple of days ago I get txt you can have the Corolla, it was like Xmas. Drove it home and it’s a proper Eed China job. That’s the motor. As for me I live on the east Norfolk coast. I’m retired now and love it. I’m a O.A.P (Old Age Petrolhead) my other toys are, ford Ranger.. fordson major.. with sea fishing boat Bedford RL..and a Honda shadow. My favorite car’s I’ve owned out of about 70 has to be the Sunbeam Tiger from many years ago and recently the Alfa 166. Look forward to getting to know some of you when I put a barrage of questions and advise on the forums. Thanks pete

Hi Pete, welcome to the TOC. Looks like you got enough machines there to keep you out of mischief 😄. I’ve got a couple of vintage tractors myself.

Good luck with your search Pete. For short runs I use my 1948 International Farmall Cub made in Chicago Illinois. 4 mph flat out 🐢.. For longer trips I’ve used my 1954 four cylinder Ferguson Grey Diesel. At the top speed of 10-12 mph. No cabs on either ️.
