I have bought a 2014 Aygo to use as a car when we get to a campsite in our motorhome.

these are brilliant as even the auto's can be flat towed with a dedicated A frame.

does anyone know how to do the wiring pls?

there is usually a trailer plug inside the engine compartment that you plug into the motorhome

i'm just unsure how to do the wiring

Is it a late MK1 or is it a MK2 ?, 7 or 13 pin socket on the tow vehicle  ?

it's the new shape 64 and it's 7 pin

Do they make a kit  for the Aygo ? as i would think it needs a bypass module so not to back feed the car

i can't seem to find one and all the fitters charge a fortune

It seems simple enough, wire it to the backlights using diodes, so the power doesn't back feed the car or the trailer electrics or use relays

Look at post #10 in this thread, shows the 7-pin wiring and where to fit the diodes.

Unfortunately, that diagram will cause a back feed into the car you need 2 diodes per circuit
