aygo x-press Vvt-1 mileage problem

my wife has an aygo and although everything on the dash seams to be working , including the speedo , the mileage is not increasing and just stays on the same reading.

has anyone in the brains trust come across this before ?

Is it dealer serviced, if so it should be covered, if you have a scan tool you can check the mileage stored in the ecu and check for any codes, if the mileage is different you know the cluster is bad

A 2018 Aygo should still be covered under the 5 year/100,000 mile new car warranty, unless it was an insurance write-off. I would check/book it in with your Toyota dealer.

sorry for late response guy`s , It was an insurance write off , so not covered by any warranty.

strange that the speedo works fine , just not recording the milage.
