"As the name suggests, it's features include instant access to a series of smart connected services, such as cloud-based navigation with live traffic information, 3D city mapping, highway signage and fixed traffic camera locations. All data and information is delivered via the communications module, so no phone pairing is required for smart connected services and no additional data costs are incurred."

Can anybody with the new infotainment system confirm this ??

Confirm what, yes these are features of the Smart connect system available in MY22 C-HR

That it works and doesn't need connection to the data on your phone.

What setting have you chosen to ensure the car knows who is getting in?

Having a look at MyT for my C-HR, I saw this in the vehicle settings. There's an option to remember password. Has this been ticked in your account on MyT?

Bob, could you please guide me where is this option on the web interface of mytoyota?

Hi Sol

Log into MyT on your web browser.

On the left, you'll see two tabs "Configured" and Owned".

Click on "Owned"and then click on your car.

Scroll down and you should see "Vehicle Settings".

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see it second from the bottom.

Hope this helps 👍

I can confirm it doesn't seem to work on my Corolla, it's telling me it's all set up and tells me how long the subscription lasts. I get a red My T  logo in the centre with 3 greyed out icons around this ....I assume they aren't supposed to be greyed out but who knows ??

Odd. I've logged in fine.

Clicked on Owned, and then on my car. Vehicle settings is now towards the top, on the right.

There are two systems on newer models.   The Smart Connect has little similarity with the older Touch 2 Go.

Don't ask me the technical details or the physical differences but I don't think it is a simple swap out job.

The older Touch 2 Go system costs about £100 more on a Yaris Cross.
