Reversing alert sound

Hi folks,

I want to ask whether anyone knows if it is possible to reduce the volume of the reverse alert.

If it is possible, does anyone know where I can get this done in South East London? Arriving home late night/early mornings, I feel terrible about disturbing the sleep of my neighbours as my parking is right under their bedroom windows. I am trying to do the good neighbourly thing.

Any help and advise much appreciated - I'm sure my neighbours will too!

Hello,

Please be advised that no audible sound will be heard outside the vehicle. It is merely an internal dashboard sound.

However, saying that, the sound can be muffled by placing some tape over the component. The dashboard isn’t tricky to remove for a competent DIYer.

Oh my days!! Really?? I didn't know that!! I feel like a right muppet now!! 😄 It really sounds loud - so loud I thought it was also external!!

As Paul says...it's just sounds internally...mines the same.
