Corolla Cross hybrid 1.8 rear noise over bumps

I have purchased a Toyota Corolla Cross 2022 model Hybrid in Dubai 2 weeks ago/ I hear a loud thud noise from rear side of the vehicle when the rear wheels cross a speed bump. does anyone have a similar issue ?

The parcel shelf in our Toyota makes a loud thud if it’s not clipped properly into place.  Worth checking.

Assuming you passing over the bumps at a low speed, it’s like Alan says, got to be something loose in the back. So also look at any tools under boot flooring.

Check the spare wheel, if fitted, is securely fastened down.
