2014 2.od4d 1adftv with dpf oil

Hi there Toyota guys I'm wondering is this oil the right oil for my car the guy in the shop I told him what car it is a 2014 Toyota avensis 2.0 d4d 1adftv with dpf I told him need low ash he told me this is the oil can't you guys check

0w30 or 5w30 meeting C2 low ash is what you need.

Gem Oils is an Irish oil producer, but the Unisyn LS oil doesn't seem to feature on their website, and, as far as I'm aware, is a bit unusual saying it meets both ACEA C2 and C3 - though could be wrong.

Wonder whether it is old stock.

I'm not sure tbh would I need to get ow 30 or this 5w 30 do I kina don't want to wreck my engine I asked the guy loads of times is this the right oil and for dpf he said yes 😞

Either 0W-30 or 5W-30 meeting C2 low ash are OK for your car.

As I understand it; a C2 oil meets and exceeds C3 spec.  But C3 doesn't meet C2 spec.

Basically, your oil is 5/30 C2 so should be ok.

whats the difference with 0W-30 and 5W-30  im kinda wondering is the 0w 30 the oil i should have got and as you say this word unisyn ls i have not got a clue what that means i have sent that company a mesage asking them whats the info on this oil and im not even sure if its good quality oil its what the guy gave me i asked him a few times i think he was getting angry a bit with me i just wanted the best quality oil tbh i didnt care the price
