Head unit upgrade

Hi all. 

I decided to upgrade my head unit and Speakers. 

For the head unit I went for the Joying (yes I know it's a strange name) 11.6 Inch with 8GB of ram and 128GB of storage, looks good and the DSP makes the sound so much better. A connecting wire harness is supplied with a CANbus. And all works well with the steering wheel controls. 

For the Speakers I got some Focal components, they fit directly into the holes and the speaker plug is used instead of the usual speaker connection. 

The head unit fits really well and looks great.

As a fellow 2018 Auris owner, I am very much looking forward to some pictures of this installation.

Annnnnd here is the photo, sorry not the best.

The Hazzard warning button is 1/3 hidden but still very accessible.

One thing I had to do was place 2 washers on each screw hole on the rear to bring it out away from the dash as when I went around certain corners the screen moved and activated the hazards.

It's a cheap Chinese "Joying" tablet based radio, the quality isn't great, they're under £90 from AliExpress - you pays the money, you're stuck with it

Do the Speakers sound any better?

Can't improve quality of Speakers just by putting a new headunit.

Speakers will still be trash, and need to be replaced separately.
