2014 toyota avensis ac Refrigerant

hi there im wondering dose anyone know what ac Refrigerant  and kind it takes for the car im thinking of doing mine as im not sure if its dont or whatever but the car is 2014 and well im thinking maybe better put some in so that keeps the ac compressor in good nice by using ac oil tom  lub the ac compressor did anyone ever bother doing this think it might be a good idea i seen online that can get a refill just need to get one with a gauge on it so you will know its the right amount

A new refrigerant was introduced from around 2014 (R1234y), which is supposedly more environmentally friendly, but also more expensive.

Check inside your engine compartment, and usually there will be a sticker somewhere showing whether yours has the newer Y1234yf, rather than the older R134a.

tbh the price even the old stuff might just let run out and when the ac compressor !Removed! itself il put a shorter belt on . i didnt think cost that much for that stuff :/

I checked a couple of sources for refrigerant type and capacity, and it seems all T27 used R134a and capacity 440g. There is normally a label on the underside of the bonnet, giving details of the air-con specs.

I seen that to when looking and googled for it tbh is a bit expensive think maybe better waiting to the ac compressor !Removed! itself then just go for a shorter belt
