Hi, I need 2 x bonnet washer nozzles for my 2010 Avensis.  Looking on eBay a lot of them say universal fit and they are only £5 for a pair, Toyota where several times that, is there anything i need to look out for before ordering, or can someone recommend a eBay listing as universal fit can sometimes not always be the case.  Thanks

Is it the jets, there maybe a T/Y splitter what has a 1 way valve this gunges up and blocks

Universal = Fits nothing

there a 3 different types of jet by angle type -2, 0 and +1

valve  85321-28020

iirc the valve is on the underside of the bonnet

im sure @TonyHSD has had this problem (among a few others)

My Mechanic says its the jets they have completed gone they cannot be fixed and water is pumping up to them fine, he said i can just order replacements off eBay.

flash22 There are 3 Different types of jets, how do i know which one i need? or is it just personal choice where you want the water going

So i need to stay away from the universal fit ones then and buy a OEM Toyota part

When I first had my car back in 2015/16, my washer jets of my T27 were not working properly. I checked the jets and hoses,  cleaning the jets and all the hoses and connections were good. In my case a slightly kinked hose and a partly blocked nozzle. I also made sure to use pre-mixed washer fluid, because of water scaling. I never use tap water! Since then I have had no issues with my washer jets.

Change the 3 way valve first, the washer jets hardly ever fail, the valve is the cheaper

Use the plus 1 nozzle if you really need to replace it, the plus or minus relates to the angle the spray goes on the screen, better off being plus 1 as that is a bit higher on the screen
