Toyota Avensis T27 2.0 Valvematic manual 2009 - Short jerks before engine braking

Hi guys,

I was wondering is this really an issue/fault or more or less an feature, but issue is as per below:

- When engine is warm and iam driving stable speed with like whatever gears speeds example 40,50 or 80kmh, lifting up foot from pedal creates a quite effective jerk before engine is moving to engine braking, feels like it is taking some loose away before it starts to go engine braking

- Same impact when starting to press gas pedal with foot again to increase speed, short jerk, before it takes it fully

Engine oils, gearbox oils etc. changed, no impact to this matter.

So is this like a feature that engine reacts like that or is there a common issue already known?

Can it be that effective jerk when engine is cutting fuel injection off to stop fuel adding in this model (consumption is of course 0ltr per 100km when moving to engine braking)? And is it really this model only which has this heavy jerk, since my other Toyota Yaris 2005 1.3ltr is not doing it like that.
