Certainly Bahco had a reputation for good quality tools.

I have a Bahco adjustable spanner and always does the job👍

Had a few over torqued wheel nuts by tyre fitters, near impossible to remove even with a breaker bar.

Better to use a dead blow 2lb hammer on the loosening device, to overcome the static friction, rather than a long bar or length of pipe. Too "springy".

Think of moving a piece of heavy furniture on carpet. That initial push to overcome the static friction then it slides easier.

I have various size Bahco shifters from when it was Swedish owned and Swedish made. "Had" being the relevant word.

I bought a Bahco branded short Stilson wrench not long ago and it is no better than the equivalent Chinese tat. What I would describe them as would be filtered out.:laugh:

In my opinion they are now making to a price and the past reputation, not a standard.
