Colour Change

To win a show in an MR2 is gonna be !Removed! hard! Even just having something nice at a meet will be harder...

As for colours... what about a really deep, slightly flipped, Blue/indigo like on the Focus RS?

Hi,

Paint wise: if you have a thunder grey, get a designed sprayed on in a two tone finish. So when you look at it one way the whole car all looks close to grey then look at another way you see the design in say a darker grey etc. Not sure how easy it would be, but its a idea.

YARIS or MR2:

depends they are two different cars altogether, Yaris is very partical, 4 seats lol, and a really good hatch back, but obviously it is limiting compared to a MR2.

Personally even thou MR2 is a quality car, i think it needs a bit of a redesign: not as pleasing to the eye as it could be, and not compared to others out there.

But progression is natural, if you can manage to live without the practiblity of the yaris, ie being able to fit 4 friends in a car instead of 1, fit all your gear in your car easily etc etc then go for the MR2

YARIS is a great lifestyle car, MR2 is more of a toy and a cool toy at that.

Me personally if i liked the MR2 more i would, but i would try another toyota model, maybe a Celica or Corolla hatchback. My knowledge of them aint to great, what you guys think.

LAST POINT lol, if jaxx changes to a MR2 who will help us when we stuff up our yaris :( lol . I bet all the people who said MR2 didnt think about that.

let us know what your thinking

Stick with the Yaris and make it fast! Then let us know how you did it so we can copy you!

I wouldn't swap the Yaris for an MR2 - could you afford 2 cars??

<_<

old maybe, but still looks gorgeous and will continue to destroy 'new' cars for years to come

new yes, now its not the nicest lookin motor ill admit and could really benefit from some more poke out of the engine, but handling is next to none with them

:lol::thumbsup:

There are not many cars that are mk2 MR2 cheap and have THAT performance.

For £5,000 you can get a mint late engine MR2 .. and with another £1,000 have it over 300bhp ..

So for £6,000 what other cars are there for 300bhp and the sportscar look?

Get a Mr2 turbo mate. My mate went from a 02 Astra sxi to a k reg mr2 turbo and he really loves it. It has all the creature comforts on it still so you wont be missing out on that mate. If you shop about you will be able to find a good one like my mate's for £6,000 and you will still have change left back to begin the modifying mate

How about a nice Throphy Blue Pearl or the Purple Pearl paint off the late Rev 3 MR2.

I think only a Supra will satisfy your eventual power hunger! ;)
