Where in my post did I say I used a wake word?

Both Corolla & C-HR are older product designs, the Smart Connect system is all new so will be limited to what it can integrate with them.

Plenty of German vehicle manufacturers will happily take your future vehicle order for fancy voice activated features & wake words.

I heard that mercedes "Wake word" was "Katching"

Disappointed that the Corolla, seemingly a grade above Aygo and Yaris doesn’t have remote locking 😞

This is a very useful feature if you happen to forget to lock the car. I get notifications that my Corolla is unlocked but can’t do anything about it.

My other car, a Skoda has this feature as standard.

I suspect you'd have to trade up to one of the newer ones; The Yaris and Aygo(X) only got it in their latest revisions. I don't think mine has it, but I don't use cloud-connected things so can't check.

I am pretty sure I have seen an article stating that this feature is only available on Aygo(x) and Yaris models. Even the latest Corolla doesn’t have this feature.

ETA: on the subject of locking, surprised as standard there are no options to auto lock. There is an OBD plug in device which does this, but the down side is that the unlock button on the door doesn’t work. Little details here and there that could’ve been improved.

I think toyota is doing the right thing by not including all the available options.

Years ago as skoda produced the original Octavia... It had no flash infotainment system.. No air con.. No electric windows.. No electric seats it made about 60hp it was basically a go cart with a roof but it gained a reputation for reliability and durability especially in the taxi trade, wind on a few years and they have all the bells and whistles that every other manufacturer fits. And they are as unreliable as everyone else.

Most warranty claims focus around infotainment system and  subsequent systems.

By not fitting these things as standard Toyota are making there cars have less warranty claims than manufacturers who do fit them.

The more they have the more there is to maintain and go wrong.

I recently heard from someone waiting on his sedan MY2023 that he saw the sales person from the dealership turning AC on remotely.
Can you please tell us the MyT application version (Account -> Settings bottom of the menu) ?

P.S. This is about a NonUK Corolla Sedan MY2023.
