Steering wheel controls

I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla LE and I was wondering if there is a way to get cruise control and media steering wheel controls. The cruise control stick is really inconvenient and I have to look away momentarily to skip a song. Thoughts?

If it is possible, try for the Yaris style.  The Corolla and Yaris CC controls are in the same position, but in my opinion the Yaris ones are better.  Each segment is fenced so little risk of pressing the wrong segment.

The stalk-type are usually controlled by resistors and I have heard of people fabbing their own button panels with the right resistor values and wiring those in but that's well out of my league!

2006 Corolla is likely to have AVC-lan audio controls if the car of that age had them at all - i take it you're in the US or Canada

A quick look on the epc shows it uses an actuator in the engine bay (cable throttle) only the Manual has CC (LE spec) it also has its own ecu

Yes I am in the US. My LE has CC, it's just controlled by a super inconvenient stick behind the steering wheel.

My mistake i misread your post, audio controls, either Toyota parts from another car of that age or an aftermarket stalk

i can't find anything suitable in the US market

but you may be able to source something from Japan/Europe
