Wow... Just thought I have a quick browse of the used Toyota Yaris mk4 on the Toyota website as I wanted to see the colors I chose looked good and found that the prices are more expensive than the brand new car I ordered.  I know that the used prices were more than the new ones back in Feb/March.  However, it seems to have creep up even more.  Who knows what the next few months will be like eh.

Logical I guess.  You need a 'new' now.  Demand is high so prices rise to meet demand. Others of us are prepared to wait but secure the sales commission for the new car X months on.  At the same time the 'I need a new car' demand will probably still exist in X months time.

Long may it continue.

Prices are crazy. I checked the current potential price for my car with three of those car buying organisations. All three valuations were over £8000, the highest being around £8400. We know they will find things to reduce their offers (probably) but my car, a pre-reg with 10 miles on the clock, was £12750 on the road, in March 2014. That included the usual suspects - mats, "mudflaps", 1/2 a tank of motion lotion and a full spacesaver spare wheel kit (it came from the factory with goo and compessor), I promised to walk away without the spare wheel kit:laugh:.

Of course, new car prices are similarly over the top and it's the price to change that's important.
