Starlet Turbo Conversion

Hi guys, long time no see. Currently converting my 1998 sr 4efe to a ep82 turbo, can anyone help me on finding contacts and prices for the following:

1) Glanza Bonnet, is it a straight fit and will the scoop be in the right place to supply sufficient air flow to the ep82 engine?

2) Glanza rear bumper, straight fit?

3) Rear disk conversion, which rear axle will i need, glanza or ep82?

4) And is whiteline the only people that can supply a strut brace and if not who else?

If anyone could put me in contact with people or advice me i would be very greatful. Will have my coilovers on in the next week so will send some pics.

It will also have a front strut brace which I won't need.

Im afraid i don't have an ep82 bonnet.

Are the pannels in perfect condition. Just need the bonnet but not sure about the strut as i,ve heard there not very strong. Do you know if the scoop is in the right place for an ep82 engine? Also how much! Thanks Toby p.s do you still have 4efte?

My Glanza front cut is still at the port, collecting it Friday. The outer panels should be in good condition. The 4E-FTE is going into a Sera, but the rest is surplus to requirements.

I've not heard of the standard strut brace breaking. Its not the nicest thing when compared to aluminium or carbon fibre jobbies, but its probably just as good, what with it being designed by Toyota rather than a bunch of clowns who just want to flog stuff.

1.) It'll basically be a straight fit.. Why worry about the normal Intercooler, use a FMIC one time..

2.)Straight Enough.

3.)The axle from an ep8 will work or a Glanza also. You just need the disc brakes. Alot of oither people provide those braces, check on the net..

Yes it will fit :)

We did a couple of weeks ago a Glanza S to Glanza V conversion and we used the EP82 GT engine for it.

I think some of you know the car, it was the red EP91 from the Netherherlands.

I think there will be like no normal EP91s around sooner or later seeing that they are all having a face lift trying to look like glanza's :P

Least mine is keeping to the originals :P

You can get modding bits for it but it'll cost you. Do away with the 4EFE engine, use a Glanza bonnet, headlights, back.. get side skirts, new wheels.. back lip everything. Slap in a 4AGE or 4EFTE

Gonna cost a penny I believe, in some cases your better off buying something else.

the 4A-GE is the 1600 engine from many things eg original MR2. Lots of variants

i am interested in the front cut panels you got. this is a serious enquiry, please email me at shotta_@hotmail.com . we can discuss price and so on when you email me, i need a right side fender, bumper, right side fog light, right side indicator. as u can guess my glanza was hit in the front right. hope its a 96/97 model!
