Hello all,

I am trying to access the aircon part to change a broken servo (the one that controls the cold/hot mix.

Would anybody have a diagram or detailed instructions on how to remove the plastic trimming (Lower Instrument panel sub-assembly)?

Thanks a lot

Tina

Had the exact same issue and was unsure how to do this aswell.

only hot air on passenger side, i thought servo was stuck.

I went down and removed the plastic panel/cover: no screws, just remove with a little bit of force, Pull downwards in the front.

Servo is located on the left hand side of the well when looking up (LHD cars), probably opposite if you are in UK.

You should easily see its the servo, if you know how it looks like (check internet for pictures)

luckily for me, it was just previous owner have not plugged the cable back, so basically my servo got no electricity at all.
just plugged the loose cable, and everything worked just fine😄

EDIT:
If drivers side, there are two screws, then the lower plastic cover is loose,
I'm not sure but i also believe  the servo then would be placed on the right side. (just a guess)
