What scent or fragrance are used by dealers

Hello Everyone;

I'm new to this lovely forum.

I have rather silly question

I've collected my Yaris from Toyota dealership and it has this wonderful smell in it that I really like.

I'm wondering is it just any ordinary air freshener that they've used or they got a secret up their sleeves that we don't know.

I'm more interested to know if there is anything that can be recommend that can keep the car smelling fresh for long.

Do they add or attach anything to the air filter or something 😜?

Thanks

I suppose that the only real answer to your question is give your dealership a ring.

It's usually just a "new car smell" in a bottle, or it's already in the interior cleaning products they use, dealers buy their cleaning supplies by the gallon or drum, there are 100's of products on the market from the cheap to the hipster glass bottle comes in a velvet bag products

some are vanilla, other smell like burnt rubber - AutoGlym or Maguires are safe bets

I had a MK1 GT Cortina in the early seventies.

It smelt lovely inside, plenty of scented Christmas trees 🌲

Also a couple of cushions in the back 😃
