ABS pump failure

Hi alnl,

While out driving in the countryside yesterday, my Prius T-Spirit suddenly started making a loud screeching noise, and the warning lights all came on, along with a constant pinging. The ABS skid warning was included in those that lit up.

The AA patrolman identified the problem as an ABS pump failure. He looked it up on his phone and apparently found dozens of reports of a recall for this problem. Last year (2021) I received a recall letter but whenI tried to book an appointment, was told by the dealership that it didn't apply to my vehicle.

Has anyone else had a problem with the ABS on a Prius model, or were involved in the recall?
