They are both safety aids, so best get them sorted - under warranty. May just need software updates.

As a check, both are hidden behind front and rear bumpers respectively. Is the car clean? Sometimes, if bumper area is dirty, it will switch off system if sensors cannot see properly.

well the car has the saharan dust all over it 😄 no road dirt or rain flashes from other cars

Dust would do it. 

Orange means fix at your convenience. If you are worried not having BSM then you would push for an urgent fix.
