Hi guys, just got back. apart from nearly going onto a big motorway maint. lorry - a**hole - who was overtaking unexpectedly, we had a great run. 57 mpg over 120 miles.

stealth mode is great.

had a 20mph zone drove in ev mode all the way till the Battery was exhausted  . great for mpg improvement. stupid place for the button though :crybaby:

was it certainly needs getting used to, but is looking good. now my dad has to get used to it as hes at the other side of the car

we were going to have a drive b4 we set off but it wastoo busy, so we decided to go home instead, so am going to go for a drive in a moment.

thanks for the wishes.

i mentioned the story to my dad and he suggested a bomber type system as well :D :D trust him as an airforce man.

Excellent, I'm glad you got back safely! The car certainly does take some getting used to, doesn't it?

The pedestrians on the side of the car are from the air force models, we're both ex-Raf as well!

Can you not borrow it for the tour, that would be nice.

Have a nice run tonight.

my dad got a silver one. he just let me drive it for now casue hes not used to right hand drives yet. i have been here for 8 years now and am used to it. we went out together so i could keep an eye on him driving and he's doing quite well.

it only needs one mistake though. i would have been happier if he bought a banger first to get the hang of it

biggest problem so is starting the damn thing. on several occasions the main brae warning light stayed on so the car would not move, felt a bit like the hand(foot) brake wasn't released properly. also it needs to be depressed fully for it to work propperly.

I'm gonna come in the Mark II for the tour as it is much rarer then a prius, there common as muck, esp. in black (pun intended) :P
