I sure it doesn't matter with Speakers.

I had to ask the question when i changed my parcel shelf Speakers, and me m8 who is a electrician said it doesnt matter.

He did give the technical reason why but i cant remember

well... actually it does matter... if you mix up the wiring the speaker will move in reverse direction... that is when it is supposed to move forward it will move backward... you probably won't notice the difference in sound if you listen to only one speaker but if you have your left speaker wired correctly and your right speaker mixed up you might notice some small difference...

the only thing that might change considerably is power-handling... Speakers are designed to move a longer way forward than backward and thus playing loud music might even damage the speaker - but it all depends on how the speaker is built...

All fitted in to the dash. Less than 20 mins for the whole lot. Sounds obviously better, I'm happy!
