New Water Leak Maybe T-bar Construction?

I know t-bar seals leak water on the seats and carpet, but has anyone heard or experienced water dripping from the courtesy light in front of the rear view mirror above the gear gaiter?! :ffs:

I pulled off the cover and you can see a small pool of water sitting in the plastic cover tray! The lights still work prefectly though. I wonder where the water is getting in at? A small area of roof carpet surrounding the area is damp too. :censor:

Can anyone help as this is an annoying problem especially after last night's storms changing gear with wet hands!!. :crybaby:

Check all the rubbers around the t-bars.

If one has came loose or is damaged then that would be the problem.

Do your roofs line up properly?

Could even be the windscreen rubber...

Believe me everything looks prefect, no rubbers look out of line or worn, windscreen looks excellent too, its confused me..

When you took the light out, could you not see the source of the leak?

I would take the light back out and get someone to pour water on the area while you sit inside and watch for drips.

I'm gonna take the light holder out of the roof and see where the water runs from and do what you say...pour on certain areas to get an idea.

Will let you know how I get on.

Cheers! ;)
