Yaris sr 1.8

I have a yaris 1.8sr on a 08 reg it has 54000 miles and has developed an annoying problem your driveing along and all the dash lights come on the car drives fine,stop the carswitch off ignition restart all lights are then off theres no patten to it it can happen 5minutes driveing or you can drive for 2 hours and it wont come on any idears

Check the Battery terminals for corrosion and that they're not loose, also check the ground cable from the Battery -ve to the chassis to the engine, and as above make sure the connections are tight and free from corrosion,
