I want a fire engine horn, but I dont think there is enough room for the compressor, dad has a bora and the horn is loud, the horn on the yaris is crap, (its better to use the yaris horn when there is no-one around)

the space in the yaris is tiny, does the horn have to be at the front of the car?

Don't do it just to be different.

They are loud for a reason, because they are used by the emergency services...........to alert people to their presence and the urgency of their plight.

And you will probably find it's illegal to use one unless you are a Fireman.......

oh right, how many dB's is the yaris horn?

Depends how far away you are!

The Decibel scale is also logarithmic, so if object A is 50dB loud and object B is twice as loud then measuring the volume would give 53dB assuming all other parameters are identical...

Still don't see why you care to be honest...

I must admit I truely hate the Mr2s horn..... "meep meep" I sound like the <I thought I could get past the swearing filter - what a sad muppet I am eh?>ing road runner...

No way does the horn on my mr2 convey my total disgust/anger/emotion to passing moped riders that cut me up.

Air horns are loud, but sound silly, I find tone is far more important then volume alone.

The older rolls royces have a loud and purposefull horn.. if I can'd find one of those, the mercedes horns sound good

Aye Yaris horn is Pap ... "pap pap"

too high pitched and squeaky.

You can fit a horn anywhere ya like. As said though, on the Yaris it's upfront and space is not optimal...also you can see it through the Grill.

Halfords do two...a high tone and a low tone...low tone is the better...nice deep and throaty.... however...I belive they are bright red!...so will stand out through the grill....but you can bolt the things on anywhere.
