Hi, just wondered if anyone experienced issues with Aygo 1.0 brake switch. I think the one in my daughters car has seen the end of its days. Brake lights are staying on permanently. I've had to disconnect Battery for now. Do you have to remove dashboard to access the switch as so compact or is it easy to get to in the foot well. 2006 model Aygo. Semi Auto. Many thanks

You can access it from the footwell, it's more than likely just worn out

Toyota part number. 84340-09030 - manual only

if you're keeping the car, get a Toyota oem item or Febi/Blueprint if you are on a budget go for something like an intermotor part

if it's auto, that uses a different switch (4 pin, white body) 84340-09020
