Cycle carrier

Does anyone know of a rear door cycle carrier that works for the Touring Sports, without the expense of fitting a tow bar?

IIRC the tailgate is made from a composite material around a metal frame & is not suitable to mount a cycle carrier to 

Roof bars or tow bar mounted carrier are your options.

I bought some Cruz aero bars, and Cruz bike carriers. The whole combo bolts together and can be removed from the car & refitted in about 10mins. With the Corolla being quite a low down car, it’s easy to lift bikes on

Sounds interesting. How much did it all cost? I'm not wild about Toyota's prices for bars etc.

Or if you have the sunroof, tow bar only!

The advantage of a tow bar mounted carrier is also that it very likely will be compatible with your next tow bar equipped car. Roof bars etc. tend to be model specific.

I bought it all from ‘roof box.co.uk’ - easy to build the package of everything required
