bonnet insulation

So I bought  a 2023 corolla  hybrid  le and in December  2021 and decided to  look in my  bonnet to my amazement  there's no insulation under the hood

Do you have the 1.8L hybrid? Did any of the brochures showed the car with such an insulation, or do other trim levels have it? Why surprised at all?

It is only on the 2.0 model

Toyota saves tons of money not including a bonnet insulation on vehicle that does not benefit much of it , although on a cars with engine these covers always help a bit reduce the noise. That’s why the OP classed Corolla GR as “unfinished product” in comparison to top spec excel model, which has everything. 👍

In UK 2.0 all trims have it and excel trim with either 1.8 and 2.0 engines.
