Rav4 official roof bars

Hi all i wondering if someone could help the bars are from toyota and i have fitted them there seems to be a small gap on all sides is this normal i have attached a picture all are the same

Was going to ask the same question.  Mine are the same. It bugs me. The US spec bars sit flush to the rails.

Just fitted the Thule RAV 4.5 . I thought Toyota used rebranded Thule bars but clearly not for the RAV.

Looks awful, I'd better stop complaining about my Cruz bars which look better than those.

That’s the way they are gaps everywhere, not a good look.
