Low milage servicing

Hi,

Was talking to another toyota owner today who has only done 400 miles in 6 months. He said that he would be lucky if he clocks up 1000miles this year. Was wondering what happens at toyota service with such low milage, do they still change the oil etc.

Interested to know if anyone else does this low milage and what happened when serviced.

Toyota service intervals are 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. So the car should be serviced on the time basis - 12 months.

Yea, even if you drove only a 100 miles, if you took it in for its 1 year service they'd still do the same thing they'd do for a customer who only had the car for 5 months but racked up 10,000 miles.
