Nope, I've asked the same question, Toyota have said we need to wait until the full specs are released in (poss) December. Does seem odd they don't have the details to show, but happy to include it in the spec..

Thanks. It does all seem a bit bizarre - surely they must know??!!  I am sitting on a good Carwow offer and am minded to order, but it would be good to know what the interior will be like before I take the plunge.

Was thinking of swapping for a MY23 car but after seeing the APR jump to 7.9% this has made my mind up to keep my MY22.

The deal on the same terms as I have now goes from £269pm to £437pm 😱

Sheesh! I was lucky in that case, nabbed 1.9% when I placed my order end of September. Double checked earlier this week and Toyota confirmed that's valid for 1 year. Hope I'm not waiting that long though!!

Makes you wonder what new car sales will look like next year 🤨

New sales will surely drop considerably with people holding on to what they have. This could keep used prices high as less trade-ins come on the market.

This is actually what is already happening - The whole problem originally was the reduced production of new cars (thanks to covid causing factories to close down, and also causing the chip shortage), which has made people hold onto their existing car, so there were less used cars on the market, which pushed their prices of used cars up.

Similar situation happened around 2009 caused by the Government scrappage scheme. Due to the increase in the numbers of owners trading in old cars for new ones to get scrappage, waiting lists for most cars sprang up, and people who usually traded in cars at 3 years old decided, rather than waiting for new cars to become available, to hang on to their existing cars for longer.

Had the effect of increasing used car values - which I benefited from when I swapped my 2006 Corolla for my 2009 Auris

Corolla is now 7.9% with £2500 contribution up from 1.9% with £2250. Normal offers only change every quarter. Glad I ordered in Sept

Wonder if we will see the 0% again anytime soon? I’m currently on a 0% and want a MY23 GR sport TS but not changing for 7.9%

I’m in the same boat, I guess it depends on sales, if new orders drop right down maybe they’ll do a 0% promotion again.

I can't even get employee discount - what with chip shortages, war in Ukraine & struggling to fulfill orders already placed I doubt Toyota would want to encourage even more orders at this time.

I wasn’t talking about right now, I meant a year or two down the line depending on how things work out.

Everything is changing and repeats. Perhaps in a long term the car prices will go down again, or maybe not as inflation is at its highest and it will continue upward. At the moment it is not a good idea to buy any car new or used unless in an emergency to have a car. There are few though, that no one wants, some good used or new diesels.

Yeah, it's the nature of things to go up and down so I'm sure we'll see the back of this craziness eventually. It just depends on how long you can wait!!

I just wish my wages and bank account interest went up at the same rate!!

It's annoyingly odd I agree! They've confirmed the face-lift starts rolling out from January, yet they still haven't updated the website with the new specs.

I asked Toyota uk customer services if advanced park and 360 cameras might be included in the final  my23 Corolla spec, they replied they cannot confirm as spec not finalised.
Currently the bulletin shows removal of SIPA in my22 with only sensors and ICS for my23 but the German spec has the 4 cameras and advanced park as does the U.K. Yaris cross

Apologies if this is a stupid question as I know it appears as Toyota don't know what they are doing.

The Corolla Update MY23 Bulletin that was posted on here says the Icon spec comes with Front & Rear parking sensors and ICS.

When I have a look on CarWow, it is saying that they are an extra. I've emailed my dealer (Burrows Toyota)  and they say the same but that as I am an existing customer, they will fit Front Sensors when my 1.8 Icon TS is delivered.

Do I believe the Bulletin or the dealer? If the dealer is correct, how good will the dealer fit sensors be?

The simple answer is don’t believe anybody. I’ve researched this and asked Toyota and dealers and I can only conclude that Toyota UK do not know the final build specifications

I'm going to tell them that if it is delivered and it hasn't got them, I'll keep my MY22 Icon Tech HB

That does seem to be the case. I've also been to and fro between Toyota UK and dealer with MY23 queries, and neither of them can give a definitive answer.. 🙄
