Motorola MA1 - Its good!

Had my Motorola MA1 for a couple of weeks now, so thought I’d give some feedback on how it’s going.

Installation was very easy, as shown in the many YouTube videos; it took a couple of minutes. Start-up on entering the car is relatively quick, it’s up and running by the time I’ve reversed out of my garage. 

First long journey with the MA1 was Northumberland to Surrey. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and with my normal usage, usually get just over 2 days between charges. I Started the journey with phone Battery at 100%, at journey end the Battery was at 46%. 

The journey took 7hrs 40mins with actual driving time of 6hrs 10mins. The MA1 was in use for navigation with Google Maps the whole of the driving time, and music streaming for about a third of driving time. Performance was great, no dropouts or stuttering (which others have reported)

Pre RAV, I’d have been using my phone in a bracket in the Volvo, for navigation and I suspect the Battery usage would have been similar. Day to day I’m quite happy with it, saves messing with cables and looks a bit tidier; so overall quite happy.
