Replace 2010 Estima number plate bulbs

2010 2.4 Hybrid Estima....how do you remove the rear number plate bulbs? 

Both are not working (fuse?) but when I quickly went to remove them for a look it wasn't obvious how to pop them out.

On mine (MkII) you have to remove the tailgate interior panel...a bit of a pain..

Never understand why Toyota didn't put a removable access panel in.

The fuses IIRC are behind the front footwell side panel on the left hand side.

Just to round out this out, yeap two blown bulbs. Like you say I was able to pop open the tailgate interior panel just enough to get my hand in and replace.

A twist-lock type setup to remove the bulbs. Car passed it's NCT (Irish MOT) this morning without issue.
