Since we got our Yaris Cross on 18th May we’ve been getting frequent door not shut properly messages. See the attached screenshot. Obviously the door isn’t open but we still get the message. Anyone else had the same? Is there a simple fix before I call the dealer?

thanks,

I wood suspect the boot door try a sticking plaster over switch to push switch in a little more if that fails move to next door and try the same trick.

PS if you look at your car display is it highlighting a specific door open when it activates.

It wont lock in the first place unless all doors signals are closed but after one signals its open that may be diffrent.

I get the same message when I have stopped and switched off but have stayed inside the car for a while. I think it supposed to remind the driver to lock the car.

My message also says SHUT but I think it is a reminder to lock the car.
