Hi All,

How much difference in ride quality is there if you change your tyres from 17" to 16" and is it worth the cost to do so?

Definitely eye of the beholder stuff there - I personally think the 17" rims are too low-profile which makes them vulnerable to pinch punctures and kerb damage, but others prefer the improved road feel and steering response.

Ride quality will likely be improved from 17" to 16" but probably not enough to be worth it unless you can find a good and correct second hand set with tyres.
