Mr2 Mk1 Hazzard Lights

Just bought an 84/85 mr2, which is perfect apart from the hazzards don't work. Do they run off a separate relay/fused circuit or is this a common fault ? If there is a seperate relay I can't find it, although I have found the indicator relay and this is working perfectly. (i guess)

The indicators work fine, but they stop when the hazzards are switched on.

I have a haynes manual but it is for US spec only, and the connectors under the dash are different, and everything is the other way around.

Help! MOT soon!

Having had a few toyotas, this is my first electrical fault.

I'm not sure about the mk1 .. but on the mk2, the fust is a part of the dash stuff .. and if you disconnect the hazard button, the indicators stop working too ..

Have a check of the actual button ..
