Anyone with experience on tires please comment on which is the top brand and why?

You could try Yokohama advan or avs sport range. The former is more of a soft compound and very expensive.. the latter is more of a compromise for performance and durability. So far, I've always been using Japanese branded tyres even though they're more expensive. Point to note is that they offer a better response and road feel....
