Cat lock yes or no ?

Hi all 

I just wondered if anyone could tell me if the image below is of a cat loc or not ?

This is not a cat lock but body bar added for structural rigidity. To look for cat lock or plate you need to move the camera to the right after the middle silencer towards the second cat. Also this is non original exhaust system, seems like the cat been nicked previously and repaired with aftermarket ones. Here is where cat lock or plate should be located. 👍

Ok I’ll take another look and send a better pic if you don’t mind ? 
Really appreciate the useful info as I’m new to Toyota .. 

it’s interesting you mention that the exhaust isn’t an original factory part but how can you tell ?

Just had another look and found this ….. 

i think from the info you’ve kindly given me it appears that I don’t have a cat loc so will need to get one asap. 
I’m assuming most garages will do this and not just the dealership right ?

This aluminium foil like cover is what the car came from factory, it covers the catalytic converter as fire safety only. Very easy to remove, thieves usually just push a side and break it bend it. Cat lock or plate usually comes installed on this place. Aftermarket ones you have to remove this part, on Toyota ones. I don’t know as I never used one if theirs. Any garage can fix it for you but you have to buy off eBay and they will remove this aluminium detail and install a plate to properly and securely cover the catalytic converter like on ,y car.
