Hello all.

I am new here so please excuse me if this question has been asked previously. I did search this forum but couldn’t find anything about this.

So I have a 57 plate Avensis D4D (the 2.2) which is the estate. The mid section of the exhaust has failed at the weld on the flange which mates to the back box. Unfortunately, I am told that this part is no longer made and that no one has one in stock (presumably the ones for the saloon are easier to come by?).

I suspect it is the original pipe and the car has only done 247k so can’t really blame it for breaking.

Any advice / what have others done/knowledge of where I can buy this part greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to offer.
