Service Recommendations Necessary?

I have 20k miles on my 2019 Highlander. My dealer is recommending a fuel system service, A/C Sanitize/deodorize and brake fluid exchange. None of these services are listed anywhere in the maintenance schedule. Has anyone had the same recommendation made to them or is this a profit ploy? Thanks.

In the UK where Toyota Owners Club is based, the a/c sanitise and fuel system 'service' would be options offered by the dealer rather than included within the service schedules. So your choice whether to accept or decline the offer.

Toyota service intervals in the UK are every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first, with Intermediate services at 1 year/10,000, 3 years/30,000, etc, and Full services at 2 years/20,000, 4 years/40,000, etc. So different to the US.

Each Full service includes a brake fluid change.
