Lacks Power

I wonder if anyone can tell me if my Avensis saloon 1.8vvti petrol (2011) 148bhp should be lacking power when driving up hills. It’s a six speed gearbox and in every other respect is a fantastic car. It’s low mileage  at 45k and is regularly serviced. I wonder if why at 148hp it should have such low torque to drive up steep inclines. 
 

if anyone else has one of these models I would appreciate some feedback.
