As some may know, I am on my second MY22 Corolla TS, both with Panoramic roofs.  The first was silent, but a coming together with a deer wrote off that car.

The second car rattles and I am afraid I have largely ignored it for the past few months.  However, today was its first service and I mentioned the rattle. 

I am impressed with my local dealer (although did not sell me the car) who have confirmed a problem, agreed it's a warranty issue and booked it to go back for 2 days in January for a strip down investigation while I drive their courtesy car.

I will update as/when.

The technician may have not applied grease to the correct parts then, or the issue is different from been lack of lubricant. Back to the same place for double check their work if you ask me. 👍

I have already raised this with the manager who has been liaising with Toyota, that was 2 weeks ago 

Last Friday i start noticing droplet from the inside of back/boot door screen . Had to wipe it down 

Sunday when I open the moonroof shade/blind, to my surprise it was very wet. Water was on the glass part of the roof. I don't think it was only condensation as it was pretty bad and it was all across the screen and not just in 1 place. It started dripping after driving so I have to wipe it fully and I soaked a small fibre towel, so its just not a mist but a full blown water issue. Have reported this yesterday

My car was in for the day yesterday and I am told that the technician "stripped the roof mechanism, regreased it according to Toyota's instructions and reinstalled the mechanism".

All was quiet on my 3 mile drive home, so hopefully it will stay that way.

Hi Everyone

My car was booked in workshop lastweek where they have replaced the sunroof 

Been a week now with no more rattling
