Avensis 2014 2.0 (exhaust DPF issue)

Hi Guys, I am after some advice. Purchased a 2014 Avensis 2.0 from a dealer 2 months ago. Still have a month on the warranty.  Today  I noticed a noise form under the car (exhaust) blowing bit and found the (short)  pipe entering the cat/dpf was off….. Hopefully taking it back to his mechanic tomorrow for a look. I have attached a pic. Can these be welded or will the whole unit need replaced. The car is running very well at present.

Regards
