Toyota avensis 2.0 vvit 2004
Just bought Castro edge a5 engine oil
There Castro magnatec c4 is on sale , anyway I bought the a5 thinking it’s better for the car, have I made a mistake . Is the a5 not suitable for my car?

I believe the engine oil most suitable for your car will be 5w30 or 5w40 A3/B4 type which was widely used at the time your car been new. You can also check owners manual.

I bought oil for my 2014 Toyota avensis and we'll heard nothing but bad about it .a buddy of my had a 2.2 ford transit van and head gasket went on it at 130k and my last car which was those die hard VW 1.9tdi engines and the head gasket went on that at 125k plus It was well looked after as I looked after it well and changed the oil .well the **** oil was called 

gem oil pure junk oil never buy it whatever you guys do .I'm sticking with genuine Toyota oil from now on I bought genuine oil so going 2 change it now
